History

Hifarmax is a Portuguese company specialising in the research, development and marketing of diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for animal health. Founded in 2003, it was born from the initiative of a group of professionals with extensive experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector. In its early stages, the company's activity focused on the marketing of nutraceuticals for companion animals, Omnicondro and Omnicutis, and varroa control products for bees, Apistan and Apiguard - and only in the Portuguese market. Its unquestionable success in the domestic market led to rapid expansion into the Spanish market, thus consolidating an Iberian presence from an early stage.
The portfolio, both in the beekeeping sector and in the companion animal clinic, also grew, becoming very important in medicines. In parallel with this growth, the company also entered the production animal sector (ruminants, pigs and poultry). Maintaining its focus on growing its portfolio with innovative products, Hifarmax has sought to internationalise in recent years, with several products already marketed in other European countries, the Middle East and North Africa. Focused on innovation, quality and proximity to professionals in the sector, Hifarmax remains committed to developing effective solutions that contribute to animal welfare and the progress of veterinary medicine.
